The Kansas Collection is a ten-part immersive theater epic that reimagines the beloved characters of L. Frank Baum’s Wizard of Oz series. Featuring ARG elements and unlockable video content between chapters, audience members choose factions, solve mysteries, and collaborate with characters and each other to decide the fate of the world of Oz, and our own.
In The Door Oscar Diggs, the former Wizard of Oz, needs our help to find Dorothy, but the girl he finds is not the girl he remembers. Dorothy is traumatized and in denial about the events of the Wizard of Oz, and the audience assists Oscar as he calms her, and helps her remember what happened in Oz. However, just as she becomes lucid again, the Daring Twins ambush them and abduct a terrified Dorothy back to Oz. Before departing, Phoebe reveals that she is in fact the lost ruler of Oz, Ozma, and that the Scarecrow plans to marry her–leaving her just a heartbeat away from the throne.
